Our new pastor is Ryan Colpitts. He grew up in a Christian home and trusted Christ as Savior at a summer youth camp at the age of 16. He committed his life to serving the Lord, who called him to serve in the mission field in Southeast Asia. He prepared for ministry at Southeastern Baptist theological seminary, where he earned both a B.A. degree and a Master of Divinity degree. He was ordained by Braggtown Baptist Church, Durham, NC, on May 22, 2016. He and his wife, Emily, have been married since February 25, 2017, and they have three children. Previously, he served as pastor of student discipleship at Southview Baptist Church, Hope Mills, NC. His skill set includes leadership development, exegetical preaching, communications, discipleship, vision casting, compassion, stewardship, and Biblical counseling.
